Horse Shows

Level 1 Program

Our tournament program is offered for students who are looking for an inexpensive way to dip their toes into the world of competition. These shows typically take place during the winter time and are for students that have never shown. We offer this as a way for students to get comfortable and gain confidence before moving into the Academy Program. Please view our tournament handout below.

Academy Program

We offer this program for students that have already competed in the tournament program and are ready to move into more advanced competition. This program is designed to give riders a safe, but more competitive environment for those looking to compete at a higher level. Riders will typically show in this program before leasing or purchasing a show horse to move into our show program. Please view the academy handout.

Show Program

This program is for riders that have leased or purchased a horse and are ready to move into the highest level of competition we offer. This program is designed for riders that are ready to have their own partner that they can grow and learn with. This program is also designed for students who are ready to make a greater commitment to Silver Star Stables and our program. Please view the Show rider handout below.

We ask that every parent and student attending a horse show, whether they are competing, acting as a cheering section, or are there to help, adhere to a strict code of conduct. We ask that each parent read and go over it with their child before attending their first horse show.

Code of Conduct

We have several horses available to be leasd for the 2026 show season. Whether you want to lease a horse to step up into performance or lease a more flashy academy horse to help level up your riding. Please keep in mind when choosing your perfect fit that we are all about safety, and while some horses may seem perfect on paper, they may not be a perfect fit once you are in the saddle. Please make sure that you talk with you instructor before making any decisions. You can view our list of horses available for lease here:
